Due date Extension: ICAI Asks Members to Share Concerns on Income Tax Portal Issues

Many professionals have raised concerns about the income tax portal glitches this year. As the deadline to file Income Tax Return (ITR) for the audit cases is September 30, these technical issues are causing disturbances for the chartered accountants and Taxpayers.

The Direct Taxes Committee (DTC) of ICAI has received many emails from members who are also highlighting the technical glitches in the Income Tax e-filing portal. Therefore, the DTC has decided to send a formal representation to the Income Tax Department to address and resolve these problems, for which ICAI has invited its members to share the issues they are facing through a Google Form.

If you are facing any problems, such as slow portal response, errors during filing, OTP errors, and uploading errors, you can write about them. The feedback will help ICAI in drafting the representation to help with the issues.
