Government Notifies Establishment of New ROC Offices Under Companies Act, 2013
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has recently issued a notification (S.O. 4850(E) Dated October 23, 2025), announcing the new establishment of Registrar of Companies (ROC) offices. As per the notification, the Central Government, using its power under subsections (1) and (2) of section 396 of the Companies Act, has set up 10 ROC officers across India. The notification is applicable from January 1, 2026.
