Uno Minda Receives Rs 1.14 Crore Tax Demand Order Over CST Declaration Forms
Auto component maker Uno Minda Limited has received a tax demand order of Rs. 1,13,72,385 from the Joint Commissioner of State Tax, Pune VAT, related to the non-submission or short submission of declaration forms under the Central Sales Tax (CST) Act for the financial years 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18.
According to the company’s disclosure, the total demand includes Rs. 27,95, 784 in tax, Rs. 27,95,784 in penalty and Rs. 59,55,156 in interest. After adjusting Rs. 1,74,339 already paid, the net amount payable stands at Rs. 1,13,72,385.
Uno Minda received the order on September 24, 2026, at 5:42 PM. The company said it intends to contest the order on merits and does not expect the matter to have any material impact on its financial or operational activities.
