GST Registration in Just 3 Days! New Fast-Track Route for Low-Risk Taxpayers

The GST Department has implemented a new simplified method of registration on its portal, especially for taxpayers who are considered low-risk.

According to the introduced changes, the GST portal now allows eligible low-risk applicants to complete their registration within just 3 working days. This is being done to help small and non-risky taxpayers complete their registration process faster and start their business operations smoothly.

In order to use this quick route, the applicant is required to authenticate themselves using their Aadhaar. If this action is not performed, the quick approval will not be possible.

Taxpayers must upload all the necessary documents to avoid delay in the process.

Now, taxpayers are required to click the option ‘Yes’ if they want to avail the option under Rule 14A if the ITC (Input Tax Credit) to be passed on is less than or equal to 2.5 lakh per month; otherwise, they have to select ‘No’. To avail such options, taxpayers are required to get their Aadhaar Authentication done.
