ICAI Announces New Branches at Bhiwadi (Rajasthan) and Morbi (Gujarat)
The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (ICAI) has recently shared a notification on November 4, 2025 regarding to set up branches of Central India Regional Council.
In accordance with the Regulation 159 (1) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the council Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is notify to set up branches of Central India Regional Council at Bhiwadi city (Rajasthan) and at Morbi District (Gujarat).
A. The Branch (Rajasthan) will be called Bhiwadi Branch of Central India Regional Council. Its Headquarters will be Bhiwadi city (Rajasthan). The branch will cover not just Bhiwadi city, but also all nearby towns and cities that are within 50 kilometers of Bhiwadi’s boundary. Following are such cities/towns:
- Tapukara
- Tijara
- Khushkhera
- Neemrana
- Shahjahanpur (Raj.)
B. The Branch (Gujarat) will be called Morbi District Branch of Western India Regional Council. Its Headquarters will be at Morbi. The Branch besides the following places will cover the entire District of Morbi:
- Halvad
- Maliya
- Morbi
- Tankara
- Wankaner
ICAI also updates an earlier notification from October 29, 2002, about the Ahmednagar Branch of the Western India Regional Council (WIRC) of ICAI. The branch’s name has now been changed from Ahmednagar Branch to Ahilyanagar Branch. However, the rest notification will remain unchanged.
Note: This will come into effect from October 8, 2025.
