Unifi Mutual Fund Launches its First NFO: Unifi Dynamic Asset Allocation Fund

Unifi Mutual Fund has introduced its first mutual fund scheme, Unifi Dynamic Asset Allocation Fund. It focuses on generating income and capital appreciation by investing in a dynamic mix of fixed-income instruments, equities, equity derivatives, and other permissible instruments. Unifi Mutual Fund is managed by Unifi Capital, which has been an asset management company for almost 23 years.

The scheme is open for subscription from March 3, 2025 and will close on March 7, 2025. The fund will reopen for purchase on March 21, 2025. The minimum investment amount is Rs.5,000.

Fund details

  • The scheme could have four cycles: rising growth-falling inflation, rising growth-rising inflation, falling growth-rising inflation, and falling growth-falling inflation.
  • It will include credit instruments and diversified equity based on the growth outlook.
  • The fund adjusts between debt and equity based on economic trends.
  • The allocation between these asset classes is not fixed and can range from 0% to 100% in each category. The fund may also use derivatives and arbitrage strategies to manage risk.
  • The scheme is benchmarked against the CRISIL Hybrid 50 + 50 Moderate Index (TRI).
  • It is managed by Saravanan V N, who has 24 years of experience in delivering finance.

VN Saravanan, the Chief Investment Officer of Unifi Mutual Fund, stated that the scheme provides agility in asset allocation. The goal of the fund is to deliver returns that outpace inflation over time without the need for switching strategies.

It is suggested that investors should do their own research before investing in the above scheme. Assess how much risk can be tolerated considering your current financial situation and consult your financial advisor for the same.
