Unifi Mutual Introduces Flexi Cap Fund with Growth and Diversification Orientation

Unifi Mutual Fund launched its second scheme, the Unifi Flexi Cap Fund. The New Fund Offer (NFO) for investment was opened till May 30, 2025.

This is an open-ended equity scheme, therefore, it will invest in large-cap, medium-cap, and small-cap stocks. The fund is driven by Unifi’s Growth at a Reasonable Price (GARP) approach. This is an approach of choosing stocks with good growth prospects at reasonable prices.

The Flexi Cap Fund shall be invested in a portfolio of 50 to 70 different stocks. Most of the stocks will be of the Nifty 500 index. The fund has the flexibility to invest in a couple of small companies of the next 500 to 750 companies so that it may gain from fresh and emerging opportunities.

It is expected to invest 40 to 60 stocks from various industries. The fund tries to balance in-depth research-based stock picks and monitoring market indices performance. 3 to 5 years is the optimal length of investment and the most critical goal is to grow the investor’s capital in the long term.

This is the second scheme of Unifi’s mutual fund. The first scheme of the company, the Unifi Dynamic Asset Allocation Fund, has already collected Rs. 600 crore in Assets Under Management (AUM). One of the three mutual fund schemes planned by the company in its nascent days is the Flexi Cap Fund.

Professional staff will manage the fund. The manager of the fund has more than 20 years of experience in managing equity investments. The rest of the staff will handle equity, debt, and foreign investment shares of the fund.
Unifi Mutual Fund is supported by Unifi Capital, a well-established 23-year-old asset manager with AUM of Rs. 25,000 crore. The organisation is keen to offer investors a smart and adaptable way of building wealth through the new Flexi Cap Fund.
