IT Dept to Organise Three-Day Event in Vadodara, Session to Conclude on October 8
The Income Tax Department is planning to organise a grand three-day event in Vadodara. The event will be held from October 6 to 8, 2025. In the event, businesses, local dwellers of the country, and students are allowed to attend this session in the presence of department officials. According to the sources, the motive of this session is to spread awareness regarding the new changes introduced in the Income Tax Act 1961 and connect citizens of the country. The sources say MSMEs (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises), cooperatives, human resource experts, and TDS deductors will organise distinct sessions.
In the event, the officials will discuss the key changes introduced to the Income Tax Act 1961, how the changes are benefiting the taxpayers, how these changes have made the tax rules easier to understand, and how taxes paid by taxpayers will going to contribute to the nation’s development. According to the individuals aware of the session, in order to make this session more intriguing, students have planned some fun exercises during the session, like cultural performances, quizzes, debates, and painting competitions.
This session is the idea of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Gujarat, Ahmedabad, and the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Surat, along with senior officials. It is anticipated that the tax department will also organise a one-day interaction in Anand on the last day of this session, and there, tax officials will interact with traders and MSMEs in the district.
