CA Criticised for Misleading Indian Youth to Create Nepal-Like Situation in Country
Recently, the Prime Minister of Nepal, KP Sharma Oli, resigned from his position due to the increasing public anger over the killing of 22 people in Police clashes with anti-corruption protestors. The protestors mostly include the GenZ, who are part of this protest against anti-corruption in Nepal.
Commenting on the same, a Chartered Accountant posted a video on platform X, inducing the youth of India to do these protests in India. Such comments are harmful, as they can mislead the Indian Youth into doing a violent protest in India, disturbing the country’s peace.
Many other professionals, including Chartered Accountants, are criticising this comment and calling it an anti-national provocation. They are requesting the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to cancel his CA licence for making such a comment. CAs are considered the key contributors to the nation’s financial growth. But wrongly influencing the youth of India as a CA is not a professional Act.
