His achievement is especially impressive because less than 20% of students cleared both groups this time. Education Background
Tejas graduated with a CGPA of 8.59 from Osmania University. He did a Bachelor of Commerce (General) Between January 2021 and June 2024.
During his undergraduate studies, he learnt the CA programme and enhanced expertise in areas such as financial reporting, corporate law, direct and indirect taxation, statutory audits and IT skills.
Since February 2023, he has been doing his articleship training as an Articled Assistant at Ernst and Young (EY) in Hyderabad. His work includes statutory audits and limited reviews for companies in different industries like chemicals and IT-BPO. He has worked with financial reporting standards such as Ind AS, IGAAP, and US GAAP, and also contributed to audit work for a USD 450 million bond refinancing by a US-based company.
Getting this kind of practical experience helps students understand how finance actually works in the real world, beyond what’s taught in textbooks and that often gives them an advantage when preparing for the CA Final exams.
Inspiring Journey
His success came while he was managing full-time articleship and final-year university commitments as well. He cleared every level of the CA course in his first attempt and used an AI-based tool to enhance efficiency during preparations, according to the reports.
After ICAI declared the latest results, Tejas Mundada’s journey inspires direction for thousands of aspirants starting their own CA careers. His progression shows a mix of academic discipline, strong professional grounding and willingness to embrace modern study.
His journey shows that success in the CA Final doesn’t depend only on big/traditional coaching centres, but it can be achieved with the right plan, dedication, and practical experience.
As he moves closer to becoming a Chartered Accountant, many of his peers and the accounting community will be watching and celebrating his progress.
