MCA Issues Notification Amending LLP Rules for Establishment of ROCs
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) issued a notification on December 30, 2025 (S.O. 6113(E)), amending the earlier notification of the government dated October 23, 2025 (S.O. 4849(E)). This notification revises the effective date in the previous notification issued under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008.
The Central Government, using its power under sub-section (1) and (2) of section 68A of the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 (6 of 2009), has amedned its earlier notification, which was issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii)) on October 24, 2025, with number S.O. 4849(E) dated October 23, 2025. This notification notified the establishments of ROCs set up under the LLP Act across India. In this notification, paragraph 2 now replaces “1st January, 2026” with “the 16th February, 2026“.
