Sanjeev Jain appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Wipro
A leading technology services and consulting company, Wipro Limited has appointed Sanjeev Jain as the Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect.
Sanjeev replaces Amit Choudhary, who decided to step down to seek opportunities outside of the firm. Sanjeev will now report to Srinivas Pallia and will remain a member of Wipro’s executive committee.
In 2023, as the Global Head of Business Operations, Sanjeev joined Wipro. He has over 30 years of experience leading big, different teams and scaling worldwide operations. He applied the Lean Six Sigma rule and design thinking methods to achieve operational excellence and business transformation.
Sanjeev has led Wipro’s talent supply chain for the past year, including talent skilling, global mobility, talent acquisition, and business resilience departments, as well as TopGear, the company’s gig work platform.
In developing and deploying Wipro’s AI training and upskilling strategy, he played a key role.
Sanjeev as Chief Operating Officer of Wipro will now be responsible for contributing and continuing the journey of Wipro to build a client-centric delivery organization mainly focused on sustainably driving profitable and delivery-led growth.
