Top 12 ELSS Mutual Fund Schemes that have Delivered Over 20% XIRR on SIP in 3 Years

As the financial year is about to end in one month, many individuals use the last few months to invest in tax-saving instruments like equity-linked savings schemes (ELSS) to claim deductions under Section 80C of Income Tax. In the last three years, some ELSS mutual funds have delivered decent returns.

What are ELSS Funds?

The Equity-Linked Savings Scheme (ELSS) is a type of mutual fund that invests in equities. These are tax-saving schemes in which individuals can claim a deduction of up to Rs. 1,50,000 by investing in ELSS mutual funds. It has a lock-in period of 3 years, and there is no maximum limit on how long investors can hold their investments after 3 years. Due to its short lock-in period, it is a popular choice among investors. Around 10 ELSS funds have offered an XIRR of up to 20% in the last three years. Let’s take a glance at these funds.
