360 ONE Mutual Fund Introduces Silver ETF for Easy Silver Investment

360 ONE Asset Management Limited, formerly IIFL Asset Management Limited, has launched the 360 ONE Silver ETF, an open-ended exchange-traded fund that is designed to replicate or track domestic silver prices

The New Fund Offer (NFO) for the above ETF closes on March 20, 2025. The minimum investment is Rs.1,000, with subsequent investments in multiples of Rs.1. The NFO price has been fixed at Rs.10 per unit.

Silver has historically performed a dual role, acting both as a precious metal and a vital industrial commodity. The newly introduced ETF offers investors a chance to gain exposure to the potential appreciation of silver’s value without the hassle of holding physical silver.

In order to closely follow the home-country silver price movement, the ETF will invest a minimum of 95% of its total net assets in silver or silver-related instruments. The residual percentage, up to 5%, can be invested in money market securities or debt securities for liquidity and efficiency purposes in managing the fund.

This ETF has no exit load, which means it is a convenient investment choice. The performance of the fund will be tracked against local silver prices and will be guided by a skilled fund manager.

Silver is recognized as an asset that offers the stability of a precious metal with the growth of an industrial commodity. The launch of the ETF aims to provide an inexpensive investment vehicle for investors who are interested in the long-term value of silver without the physical possession complexities. The fund attempts to track closely the prices of silver while maintaining liquidity and economy, thus proving to be the right option for investors seeking diversification and protection against economic risk.
