Bandhan Mutual Fund Introduces New Short-Term Debt Scheme

Bandhan Mutual Fund launched a new investment scheme in the form of the Bandhan CRISIL-IBX Financial Services 3-6 Months Debt Index Fund. It is an open-end index fund for investing in short-term fixed-income funds. It has been specifically planned to provide safety and hassle-free access to money for the investor.

The fund invests primarily in top-quality (AAA-rated) financial instruments like Certificates of Deposit (CDs), Commercial Papers (CPs), and Bank, NBFC, and other financial company-issued Corporate Bonds. The fund adopts a strategy of investments beginning with a six-month tenor and then decreasing to three months. This approach enables investors to take advantage of short-term interest rates while minimizing risk.

New Fund Offer (NFO) of Bandhan Emerging Businesses scheme remains open to the investor until March 11. Investment is available via mutual fund distributors, financial advisers, websites or online channels or on its official website, that is Bandhan Mutual Fund website.

Short-term debt investments are seen as a clever means to ride through market fluctuations keeping the invested funds secure. The financial services sector has been sound, with sound capital cushions, minimal bad loans, and consistent credit growth. As a result, investors stand a good possibility of earning stable returns by investing in high-grade debt instruments.

The fund seeks to avail itself of the high demand for short-term investment by investing in CDs, CPs, and three- and six-month-maturity bonds. Bandhan AMC Limited, formerly IDFC Asset Management Company, provides a number of mutual fund and investment offerings.

Being present in over 90 cities, the company offers services to investors in 790 places and oversees over two million investment accounts, thereby making its services easily available.
