Mirae Asset Launches New Small Cap Fund: Key Details and Subscription Dates
Mirae Asset Investment Managers (India) has launched Mirae Asset Small Cap Fund -an open-ended equity scheme, which primarily invests in small-cap stocks. The scheme will provide the investor with a chance to derive the growth prospects of small-cap companies with a strong foundation in a disciplined and research-driven approach to investment. It will be benchmarked against the NIFTY Small Cap 250 Total Return Index (TRI).
Subscription Period and Reopening Date
The New Fund Offer (NFO) for Mirae Asset Small Cap Fund will open between January 10, 2025 to January 24, 2025. The scheme will reopen post the NFO period, for continuous sale and repurchase from February 3, 2025.
Investment Requirements
To invest in this scheme, the minimum initial investment is Rs. 5,000, and subsequent investments have to be made in multiples of Rs. 1.
Fund Strategy and Allocation
The scheme is focused on capitalizing opportunities in the small-cap segment through sustainable earnings growth, high capital efficiency, sound corporate governance, and low leverage. At least 65% of the assets of the fund will be allocated to small-cap stocks, and the remaining 35% may be invested in mid-cap and large-cap stocks.
