CA Harshita Goyal Secures AIR 2 in UPSC 2024 from Ledgers to LBSNA

Vadodara, June 1: Chartered Accountant Harshita Goyal has achieved something incredible by getting All India Rank 2 in the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2024. Her story shows how someone can change their career path and still reach great heights.

Harshita was born in, but she grew up in Vadodara, Gujarat. Her journey goes beyond simply being academically inclined; it is about perseverance, focusing on a purpose and wanting to help humankind.

She studied commerce at MS University of Baroda and became a Chartered Accountant. But instead of continuing in the finance field, she decided to try something different – she chose to prepare for the civil services to work for the government.

After her results came out, Harshita told reporters that her CA background really helped her. It made subjects like Economics, Ethics, and General Studies easier for her. “The way of thinking and discipline I learned while becoming a CA helped me a lot in UPSC preparation,” she explained.

But Harshita always wanted to do more than just work in companies. She was deeply interested in serving people and had been involved in government work from early on. She worked with the Ministry of Law and Justice and took part in the Gujarat Youth Parliament. These experiences helped her understand what she wanted to do, especially helping women get better opportunities.

“I always wanted to create real change, especially for women and people who don’t get enough support,” she said. “Civil services seemed like the best way to do this.”

According to those who know her, she is diligent, unpretentious, and genuinely concerned about people, and these characteristics led to this success story.

The Journey of Harshita brings hope to thousands of students across the country. It shows that it doesn’t matter what you studied or what job you had before; if you have passion, if you work hard, and if you know what you want to achieve, nothing is impossible.
